These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your enrollment and participation in driving lessons and related services provided by DriveSafeBC Driving School (“DriveSafeBC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By registering with DriveSafeBC, you (“student,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with the following Terms.
Students must hold a valid British Columbia learner’s licence (L or N) or other ICBC-recognized permit before beginning lessons.
Proof of valid licence must be presented prior to the first lesson.
Students must be physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle and free from any condition that could impair safe driving.
Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed by phone, email, or our online booking system.
Students must arrive on time at the agreed-upon location.
Instructors reserve the right to cancel or refuse a lesson if a student appears unfit to drive due to fatigue, alcohol, drugs, or other impairment.
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the scheduled lesson.
DriveSafeBC reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to instructor availability, weather conditions, or vehicle maintenance.
Lesson fees must be paid in full before or at the time of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.
Package payments are due in advance and must be used within 12 months of purchase.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Students must carry their valid licence at all times during lessons.
Students are expected to follow all instructions from their instructor and comply with traffic laws.
Any damage to vehicles or property resulting from reckless or negligent student behavior may be the responsibility of the student.
All instructors are licensed and certified under ICBC requirements.
DriveSafeBC vehicles are fully insured, safe, and regularly maintained.
Instructors will provide a safe learning environment and constructive feedback to students.
Students are responsible for booking their ICBC road test appointments.
Use of a DriveSafeBC vehicle for a road test must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability and additional fees.
DriveSafeBC cannot guarantee the outcome of any road test.
DriveSafeBC is not responsible for accidents, injuries, fines, or damages occurring during or after lessons once the student assumes control of the vehicle.
DriveSafeBC is not liable for loss of personal property during lessons.
Student information will be collected and used solely for lesson scheduling, communication, and compliance with ICBC regulations.
DriveSafeBC will not sell or disclose personal information to third parties except as required by law.
Respectful communication and behavior are expected at all times.
Abusive, threatening, or unsafe conduct may result in immediate termination of lessons without refund.
DriveSafeBC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or providing notice to students.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the courts of British Columbia.
